Scojet is unique in the international sourcing arena, we started our as engineers and so we approach the entire process from that perspective.
We believe the reason most international projects fail to meet expectations is not because the suppliers cannot make quality products, but that they do not understand the technical requirements.
International business requires the understanding of three languages:
English language: The defacto language for business in the world is english, so both customer and supplier must be able to speak and read to communicate effectively.
Native language: There are times when the only way something can be communicated so it can be understood is in the native language of the supplier who is making the products.
Technical language: The customer must be able to explain the technical requirements of the product and the supplier must be able to interpret the requirements to the factory floor.
Scojet has always had an office overseas that is able to communicate in all three languages to ensure the projects technical requirements are understood by the factories. Our staff ensure the processes and controls are in place to so the last part made is as good as the first. The final benefit we have found is that suppliers are much more likely to negotiate better pricing/terms because they know there is a local representative they can meet with and gives them a direct line to US if they have any questions or design issues they need to address.
Our pricing is never the lowest... our pricing is the lowest that meets our customers quality expectations.
